"Welcome to Memphis!" says Jim Browder. JB TCB Tours always welcomes you to Memphis with a tour package that is, perhaps, the best around. Why? Because Jim Browder, like his idol, Elvis, is completely kind with a heart as big to match. Jim goes over and above on his personal tours throughout Memphis and surrounding areas. He never puts a time limit on his tours; his feeling is that tourists, especially from other countries, want to take their time to see all the places and to learn all the information. And Jim is most willing to teach them.

He has even written a book, an informational guide through Memphis so that you will have an awareness either before you go or if you cannot get there and just would like to know what it's all about. "Memphis...JB Style," is a must read book. You can order either from Jim, himself, at jbtcb4ever@hotmail.com or from the publisher directly at http://www.xlibris.com

Jim is closely associated with friends and family members of Elvis, and his cousin, T.G. Shepard was a good friend of Elvis. Jim certainly knows, if anyone does, the personal stories, the sights, and will take you, in Elvis' own footsteps, through the King of Rock and Roll's old haunts and homes, and much frequented places. Some of the places you will see are Khang Re's Karate Studio where Elvis learned Karate, the motocycle shop where Elvis bought his Harleys, Peabody Walk, the mausoleum where Elvis and his mom were first buried before re-interrment at Graceland®. You will see the graves of Elvis' family members, Aunt Delta, and Uncle Vester, the lovable security guard at Graceland® for many years who proudly communicated with thousands of fans, allowing many to tour the grounds of the estate even while Elvis was upstairs asleep! Jim will take you to Forrest Hill to see the grave of Mary Jenkins, the lady Elvis thought of almost as a mother. Mary was responsible for whipping together some of Elvis' signature foods and was the chief cook at Graceland from beginning to end. You can see where Priscilla went to Catholic school, the hospital where Elvis' mom died and where Elvis was brought upon his death. You will see the Memphium Theatre where Elvis' rented out what is now the Memphis Room for himself and family and friends to see the latest flicks. Sometimes Elvis and company would attend the theatre as late as midnight in order to secure privacy. It was also the theatre of his last concert in Memphis which took place on July 5th, 1976. Jim will take you past Humes High School where Elvis attended and graduated from in 1953.

There are several places to eat in Memphis that have been there since the 1950's and all look exactly the same as they did back then. Elvis' own favorite restaurant was the Arcade. Jim will take you there and then to Audubon Drive to see Elvis' first home which he purchased for $29,000. in 1956. You will see the home nearby that he bought for Linda Thompson, and the Dolan House, which Elvis bought for his father, Vernon. You will see the yacht, once belonging to President Franklin Roosevelt and sold by Elvis in 1964 for $55,000. Elvis donated the yacht's profit to St. Jude's Hospital. You will see where Elvis was sworn in as Deputy Sheriff and the church on Jackson Street. You will meet Elvis' personal friends, Rod and Lew Elliot, and will pass by the home of another of Elvis' very good friends, the late Gary Peppers. Jim will also introduce you to Mr. Lansky, Elvis' personal tailor.

This and so much more is in store for you at JB TCB Tours. Jim will walk the walk with you as he tells you all he knows about Memphis and the one and only King of Rock and Roll.

proudly recommends JB TCB TOURS with Jim Browder as your personal tour guide through Memphis and the "land of Elvis."
