His body was interred after 10 April 1849 Smith Chapel Cemetery in Chester County, South Carolina. He was the youngest son of Thomas Presley, Sr. and Elizabeth Culpepper. Thomas, Jr. married Jennea (Jane) Preslar about 1788. Jennea was born 9 April 1769 in North Carolina. Jennea died 12 June 1844 in Chester County, South Carolina. Her body was interred Smith Chapel Cemetery in Chester County, South Carolina. Thomas Presley Jr. and Jennea (Jane) Preslar had the following children: Thomas Presley was born 9 February 1789. John Presley was born 25 April 1792. Jenkins Presley was born in Anson County, North Carolina about 1795. Jenkins died 30 September 1843 in Salem, Walthall County, Mississippi. He married Rachel Brown 1815 in Chester County, South Carolina. Rachel died 1843. Mary W. Presley was born in Chester County, South Carolina 24 March 1797. Polly died 20 May 1867. She married John Lee. John was born 2 April 1793. John was the son of Ambrose Lee and Frances Wheeler. John died 8 April 1886. His body was interred Armenia Methodist Church in Chester County, South Carolina. Susannah Presley was born about 1800. Nancy Jeana (Jennie) Presley was born in Chester County, South Carolina about 1803. Nancy died before 1849. Roswell Winfield Presley was born 16 December 1805. Barney Harrison Presley was born 27 February 1808. Elias N. Presley was born 20 May 1811. |
