| Major organizations such as the
nation's firefighters, retailers, union representatives, the
rich and famous, and the American citizen in general, continue
to be responsible for the millions in donations to research
for disease as our government gives away monies and medicines
to the needy elsewhere. We should never forget that charity
begins at home, and we need to help continue the fight for research
right here in our own country so that we can speed up the process
for finding cures for many of the diseases that have existed
for centuries. A

There are far too many devastating illnesses, and far too
many people in need right here in our own country. Millions
are given away daily to help other countries, but we need
to help those right here at home. Let's begin now!

If every American gave one dime to one cause, we would be that much faster on our way to finding cures. The answer is not how much you give, but that you give--one dime, a penny, one dollar. It all adds up. Every day great strides are made, breakthroughs come about, and all because of those who give, and those who may not have enough but give because it is the right thing to do.
