Disclaimer

The Kin of Rock and Roll and staff, thanks to family members now deceased who began the research over twenty-five years ago, have been undertaking to insure that documentation can accurately prove some of the family "theories" still hanging in the balance. WE WOULD LIKE IT TO BE UNDERSTOOD THAT OUR GENEALOGY CHARTS AND INFORMATION ARE BASED UPON INFORMATION THAT IS ALREADY REPORTED. WE DO NOT CLAIM CREDIT FOR THE INFORMATION ALREADY BROUGHT FORTH BUT DO CLAIM CREDIT FOR NEW AND AMENDED INFORMATION THAT WE HAVE EITHER ADDED, VALIDATED OR DISPROVEN. OUR GENEALOGY PAGES WILL CHANGE FREQUENTLY BASED UPON OUR FINDS. SO IT IS NOT MISUNDERSTOOD, OUR SOURCE MATERIAL IS PROPERLY CREDITED TO WHOM THE MATERIAL APPLIES. THE BASIS OF THE PRESLAR LINEAGE CHARTS ARE CREDITED TO HENRY Z. JONES, SOURCE OF ORIGINAL INFORMATION ON THE BRESSLAR/
PRESLAR MATERIAL, (The Palatine Families of New York-1710, a two-volume study on the Palatine families who came to New York during the influx of German immigrants in 1710), AND ED DUNN AND DONALD PRESLEY FOR THEIR FURTHER INTERPRETATION OF THE PRESLAR/PRESLEY MATERIAL (online study of the Preslar/Presley family entitled, "From the Rhineland to Graceland")

The Kin of Rock and Roll and staff have traveled to many different states, to courthouses and historical societies, and museums, and archives and libraries to come up with information and documentation, much of which is already out there and databased by other family researchers. Some is old news, some is new. Regardless of the nature, the documents are in the public domain and viewable and accessible to everyone, and this includes that information which is found on some genealogy, library, and historical websites.

The information on this website is either derived from our own research, from information passed on through other researchers who agree with the need to "share" whatever information is out there, or submitted to us by family members. Any and all information and photographs on this website, if not public domain, or researched by us, are used by acceptance and permission granted by various sources. If, for some reason, a source has not been able to be contacted for permission, The Kin of Rock and Roll will wait for a response from said party or else try other methods of contacting said party(ies).

The intention of The Kin of Rock and Roll is to share any and all documented information, old and new, with family members who are searching for such information. If we have it, you are welcome to have it. The object is to create a family history that all family members can refer to without hardship or infringement of another's beliefs or opinions. From here on, any and all information received and put onto our website will be tagged with either a submission donor or place and name of holder of document or information. Be advised that we have never "plagerized" the works of others, nor do we take credit for others work but give credit to those who have done the work and are deserving of the credit. We will pass along information that is already out there, but we also add, contribute, and/or amend same so as to aid in validation. We will not be held accountable for misinformation that already exists, and will continue to work to clear up the myths and misconceptions that go along with the family history.

For as much as we continue to work to gain new information and confirm old information, once again we state that we address various sources of information that all researchers have previously "unofficially" offered and help either to dispute or to validate said information. The object here is to do our part to help create a final and thorough document to be known as our family history. As our staff comes up with certain documentation and/or new information, it will be posted on our website for others to review.

Respectfully submitted,

The Kin of Rock and Roll
