Judy as Dorothy Gale in "The Wizard of Oz"
| Elvis did enjoy watching the film, "The
Wizard of Oz," and he did enjoy Judy and her singing,
especially her song, "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"
which was voted "Song of the Century" and
also the number one movie song of all time by the American
Film Institute. |

To
the best of our knowledge, Elvis never sang a duet with Judy
or appeared on stage or on her television show from the sixties.
We do know, however, that Elvis did meet Judy and her last husband,
discoteque manager, Mickey Deans, who was working at the famed
New York Club, Jillys. Elvis promised Deans some memorabilia
for a museum he was opening. One pair of gold Mardi Gras mask
cufflinks once worn by Elvis, are now in The Kin
of Rock and Roll collection.
