Elvis and Metaphysics

Mediums
Elvis rarely gave interviews but openly allowed himself to be interviewed by reknowned parapsychological author, Jess Stearn, the result of the interview in 1995 became a book entitled, "Elvis And His Search For God." Larry Geller co-authored. Stearn for the first time witnessed that Elvis Presley was more than an entertainer whose style of music mesmerized the world, but a spiritual soul whose mission on earth more than to sing songs was to touch souls and teach them and heal them, which he quite often did.

Elvis studied palm reading and frequently read the palms of family members and friends, also giving out psychic predictions. Though he never went to a medium to be read on his own, he was given readings via Charlie Hodge from an Indiana clairvoyant named Lou Wright.
At times Elvis would feel compelled to speak to Wright on the phone, and surely he listened in on the phone conversations between Charlie and Wright.

Palmistry
Palmistry appealed to Elvis and he was deeply intrigued by the "cross" symbolism found on some palms, including his own, and in areas significant to the person having such a cross.

Numerology
Elvis lived the study of numerology, believing strongly in, the number "3" which to him was vitally important though his number was a "5." To figure out what number you are, here is the chart that Elvis used:

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
ABCD E FGH I
J KLMNOPQ R
S TUVWXY Z

A letter corresponding with a certain number would be then added together and totaled. The sum of the total would then be added until becoming a single digit, thus your number. To wit:

E L V I S .P R E S L E Y

5. 3 .4 9.1 .7 9 .5 1 .3 .5 .7= 59

5 + 9=14 | 1 + 4="5"

Five is the mystical number. It is not surprising that Elvis Presley was a mystical "5." Some who knew him claim that Elvis had a magical, mystical presence, almost hypnotizing in effect. Wanda June Hill and Susanna Leigh agree with this, as did the late Natalie Wood who dated Elvis before he went off to the army. Wood was noted as referring to Elvis as having "strong, almost mystical beliefs." (as told by Becky Yancy)

ESP (Mental Telepathy)
Elvis communicated quite frequently with his mind and whether others were aware or not, they found themselves understanding Elvis when at times he hadn't uttered a word. Many of his friends knew that Elvis was highly spiritual, including D. J. Fontana, the late Natalie Wood, Deborah Walley, Suzanna Leigh, Wanda June Hill, et. al., before any knowledge of Elvis' spirituality was publicly known. He was said to have communicated with his beloved deceased mother at Graceland® and witnesses in the home, including family members and employees, occasionally saw the lights flicker or other mysterious phenomena when Elvis was meditating and connecting with his mama. Of those who knew Elvis well, several have mentioned his mesmerizing personality and the fact that he could be speaking to someone casually and that person may have felt as if in an hypnotic trance. The presence was powerful and the people knew it.

Healing
Elvis was a healer. This was not known to the public until Larry Geller, a close friend and spiritual confidante' to Elvis, admitted it through his writings. Elvis was able to lay hands on the sick, for one his grandma, Minnie Mae, and a member of his entourage who broke a leg. Elvis said that when he was performing a healing, he meditated on the color "blue" and sometimes "green," thus one of the reasons why Elvis favored the color blue. Vernon once admitted to his son that the day he was born, an eerie blue light was outside of the house in Tupelo. Elvis was pleased to hear it as he felt, then, that his mission had been made clear upon his birth. Larry Geller is also a healer and was present when Elvis suffered his first heart attack. It was Larry who "brought Elvis back" from the threshold of the hereafter and Elvis went on for a year more, gratitude owing to God who used Larry Geller's hands to heal Elvis Presley.

Elvis was continuously on a journey of soul which neither family nor friends could fairly comprehend. Enter Larry Geller. Friend. Soul brother. Confidante. Elvis joined together with Larry to fulfill a spiritual destiny, a God-given journey of realization and guidance that continues to this day for Larry here in the earthly realm and , for Elvis, from beyond the mortal coil.

Elvis' spirit never died. He lives still in the far reaches of another realm, only a few feet away from ours, where "thoughts are things" and the soul continues on it's profound journey of expansion toward God.
