PVT. THOMAS PRESLEY

An amazing photo shot from the Rose Woods Farm, Gettysburg Battlefield, where it is believed the spirit of Pvt. Thomas Presley appeared at the exact moment a descendant was speaking to him. The paranormal investigative group was there filming and caught this most unique and amazing photograph of one who may be one of our Presley ancestors!! LOOK CLOSE AT THE PHOTO BELOW.

Barbara Lee visited the Gettysburg Battlefield to pay respects to the men and ancestors who fought and who perished there during the 3-day battle in July, 1863-- one of the costliest battles of the war and also the turning point for the War Between States. BL brought flowers and laid them at the base of the Rose Woods, the Rose Farm being where men from Georgia, Mississippi, and South Carolina fought in strong defense against Union forces. Among those men was Pvt. Thomas Presley who served in the 7th South Carolina Infantry. Thomas was killed at the Rose Farm and was interred there until 1872 when his remains and others were reinterred in a mass grave at Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, VA. Thomas' family more than likely did not have the money to send for his remains. Just 21 years old, Thomas was a good soldier, and the loyalty and devotion he felt for his comrades stands today as Thomas Presley speaks out through the haze of time and visits with his kinfolk.

A local paranormal investigative group was on hand to witness and to photograph this amazing event!

It was nearly 8:30pm and getting quite dark. Barbara Lee presented the flowers and then made an announcement before the crowd, to the men who perished during the battling at the Rose Farm. She told them that the war was over, and that they could go home--to God--all they needed do was go to the light for to meet Jesus and to be reunited with family again. Barbara Lee feels that the spirits who linger here are still on hand because some of the men who died here are still buried in unknown areas in the woods. The story of what ensued this night will be told by others, but for now the main interest for us is that Thomas Presley listened to Barbara Lee, he obviously heard her words:

"I have an ancestor who is with you here. He is Pvt. Thomas Presley. Thomas, if you can hear me, I want you to know that we love you, and that you were a very brave soldier. Thomas, the war is over but you did not lose, really, because what you stoodfor was right. I would so love for you to take a photograph for me so that I can have the memory of you...

and as Barbara Lee spoke that last sentence, looking ahead at the dark treeline, cameras flashed. What happened next is something close to a miracle for when the group developed their photos, the one of Barbara Lee standing at the woodline, taken by a lady named Jan, was the most startling. On the tree before where BL was standing, appears the very clear image of a man, whom BL says does resemble family members. If the photo above is dark to you, you can change the resolution on your computer to lighten it up and what you will see will be a true gift, the image of someone who once existed, and a relative of the person who asked for this spirit to appear for a photograph--and that spirit obviously heard her request and responded!

You can see the hair, the eyes, the narrow face, and the obvious moustache! Above all, the soldier is smiling and above Barbara Lee's shoulder appears to be noticeable gray color, a piece of the soldier's uniform, no doubt.

This photo is a true gift to the family and Barbara Lee wanted to share it with you all. Thomas Presley has made himself known from beyond, and has let us know that he is still very much aware of what goes on here and now.

Thomas, we pray that you will find the peace you so deserve. You will never be forgotten.
