Excerpts of
quotes of Elvis from
Wanda June Hill's book,
"We Remember, Elvis" © 2006
"...I'd like to be remembered
when I'm gone from this earthly life for my efforts to bring joy,
happiness and a time of freedom from every day cares to other
human beings. Just think of me as the redbird in a winter worn
bush on a snowy day---a bit of color in a-sometimes dreary world."
"...Life isn't something you are given because it's owed
to you. It's given because you need to grow, to learn, and to
expand your soul and spirit."
"...How can one walk outside and look
up into the midnight blue heaven, see the magnitude of stars and
not know God IS?..."

Elvis
chose Wanda June Hill as a personal friend and confidante'.
He was particularly fond of Wanda, her husband, Jim, and daughter,
Julieann. Elvis kept Wanda to himself, a secret pal, so to speak,
kept away from public view and from other friends who may not
have been as sincere and loyal as she was to the man who longed
to have friends who liked him because of his inner soul and
not because of who he was.

"Fifteen
years of memories...I believe I knew him well, but then he was not
an easy person to know in that he had many personalities in one
body. His was the heart and mind capable of encompassing the whole
universe and he loved in an encompassing way. No one can capture
the total essence of the man. Knowing Elvis was an honor. Knowing
him well and being his friend was a privilege..." Wanda
June Hill ("We
Remember, Elvis")
