The King, Elvis, has become a national icon to our nation and to the world. But above us, there is something far greater than even Elvis.
Elvis was clear on his religious beliefs, and though he was spiritual and shared a deep sense for the metaphysical, he believed in God. Had Elvis lived to see the status of our nation as it exists today, he would have been terribly troubled. His search for God had taken him along many different paths during his brief life, but his heart never would forsake the fact that he was a true Christian, by virtue of his beliefs and by his unequaled generosity to his fellow man.
Elvis appeared on television where the host greeted him as the "one and only King." To this Elvis humbled and responsed: "No; (he said as he pointed a finger upward) there is only ONE King."

The half-century anniversary comes at at time when radical, anti-religious elements file lawsuits to eradicate every reflection of America's Judeo-Christian heritage from the public square...Americans had in mind scriptural guidance such as Psalm 33:12, Psalm 127:1 and Proverbs 14:34. From such passages they learned that 'Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord..."
